What we collect
When you use the contact form, you may provide your name, email address, optional phone number, rough timing or dates, group size, the kind of hike or experience you have in mind, and any other details you choose to include in your message. We only receive what you enter and what is needed to deliver the form securely (such as a security check token processed by our provider).
How we use it
We use this information to read your inquiry, reply by email (or phone if you have shared a number and we need to clarify something), and suggest realistic hike options or next steps. We do not sell your information. We do not use it for unrelated marketing lists.
Retention and your choices
Inquiry emails may be kept in our inbox or email system so we can respond and refer back when planning a hike. If you would like to ask for a correction, or to request deletion of your message where that is practical, contact us using the same email address you used to reach out, or send a note through the contact page. We will do our best to help within reason.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use basic analytics (for example Google Analytics) only if it is enabled in our deployment, to understand how pages are used, not to identify you personally in the contact form. The contact form may use a security challenge (such as Cloudflare Turnstile) to reduce spam; that service processes technical data as described in their documentation.
Questions
If something here is unclear, reach out through the contact form. We are a small local operation, and we answer messages as we can.
We may update this page occasionally as the service evolves.
